🇯🇵The Japanese gardens are a must see in Rockford! Beautifully designed and intricately maintained this is a must see attraction.  Built in 1978 by a local businessman inspired by visiting another Japanese garden, this is one of the highest quality gardens in the world sitting on twelve acres of beautiful landscape that are both serene and majestic at the same time  #gardens #japanesegardens #nature

Worth the 1.5 hour drive from Chicago to Rockford to experience Anderson Japanese Botantical #Gardens. Amazing topiaries, sand gardens, and waterfalls. Serene nature escape thats unlike anything in the midwest.

One of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Illinois! Travel to Rockford to see the Japanese gardens, especially with all of the fall changing colors! If you go Halloween weekend, they have their annual Spooktacular celebration.
