Italian food and wine bar. A piece of Sicily, right here in La Mesa. Cousins Andrea and Francesco grew up in the trattorias of Sicily, where gathering around a table of handmade pasta with friends and family was a daily occurrence; hearing stories of the past and dreaming of their futures. They both moved here with a vision of opening a restaurant to share their love of food and tradition with others. Francesco went to culinary school in Italy learning the traditional techniques of authentic Italian cuisine and brings his passion for cooking and using the freshest and highest quality ingredients with him into the kitchen and every dish he creates. Andrea, and his passion for creating a welcoming space for all, hopes to make you feel like you are back in the heart of Sicily - another pour of wine and another bite of pasta closer to his home island of Palermo. Whether you are Italian for life or Italian for the night, Aromi invites you to come enjoy the joys of good food and good company

This is such a lovely new Italian restaurant in La Mesa with a great selection of menu items for all tastes!  The cheese wheel pasta is such a star, but the table -side Tiramisu was such a unique experience.

So excited I got to come to Aromi again and try some new dishes. They are a new and delicious Italian restaurant now open in La Mesa! I love the atmosphere and the cute decor
We tried:

The food was all so amazing! My favorite was the cheese wheel!

Aromi has some of the best Sicilian style cuisine, but their cheese wheel pasta is a must!  The type of pasta they serve changes daily, but anything we've tried so far has been excellent. This rigatoni with sausage and sun dried tomato in Parmigiano was perfect!

Couldn’t help but do the happy dance when eating the Chef’s daily pasta tossed in a pecorino cheese wheel table side. 

The dinner meal was served with delicious focaccia, but i also recommend their Aromi Bruschette, Sweet Carrots, and Roasted Chicken. Love this intimate dining experience tucked into La Mesa, California & highly approve of all the delectable flavors. #sandiegoeats #sandiegofood #italianfood #sandiego

This cozy Italian restaurant recently opened in La Mesa and is serving delicious, authentic Italian cuisine.
