Bacalar is a new restaurant in Austin and is easily a new favorite. I love the interior & exterior. They have a heated patio for a super comfy dining experience. Bacalar is tapas style (sharables!) and they have a lot of gluten free options. Our favorites were the octopus tostadas, and the masa dumplings. 10/10

Bacalar is a new restaurant in atx with a Yucatán inspired menu and a gorgeous interior and exterior. We’ve now tried both their brunch and dinner menu and loved everything we tried each time. Their dishes are packed with flavor, spice, and make you feel like you’ve been transported to the Yucatán peninsula. Highly recommend!
