1 of only 8 continental Baha'i Houses of Worship in the world, the Baha'i Temple in #Wilmette, Illinois is a magnificent sight to behold. 

The only location in North America, their Visitor Center explains the #religion and #history. Very welcoming for a walking tour and services are open to all.

The Baháʼí House of Worship in Wilmette (near #Chicago) is the 2nd Baháʼí House of Worship ever constructed and the oldest one in NA.  One of the most beautiful and majestic structures in the greater Chicagoland area and a visual treat for anyone able to make it to the Northshore.  The actual inside is a very spiritual and sacred place, but to learn more about the faith, go to their beautiful welcome center.  No pictures on the inside of the worship house!

A tranquil place to visit in Evanston, IL. The Baha’i House of Worship opens its gardens & sanctuary to all. 

🌺 #gardens are in full bloom. The bubbling fountains make for a peaceful walk.
