Bao Master in Alhambra is a great new spot for xiaolongbao. The 5-color soup dumplings each have different flavors like truffle and spicy, which makes it fun to try a mix. They also have the giant guantangbao filled with rich soup, crab roe, and crab meat—served with a straw to sip the broth, but be careful, it’s super hot. Dumplings and shengjianbao were all top notch. New, clean space with lots of seating, reasonable prices, and good service.
