Barley Bean is the kind of place you can pop in to grab a coffee or drink while working from your laptop and not be disturbed. They also have a selection of beer and wine to go. 
I wasn’t wowed by the bagel sandwhich (the only egg choice was scrambled and didn’t have enough cheese to hold everything together) but I’ll definitley be back to try a wood-fired pizza

Popped in for a self date breakfast since my boyfriend was out with the boys and I didn't feel like cooking for myself.
The restaurant is counter service so you are greeted by a barista as you enter and can place tour order promptly. Despite being mainly a coffee shop they offer a nice selection of breakfast and lunch options as well as several beers on tap.
l ordered the brown sugar cinnamon myracle latte ($6.50) which was delicious! It was a great balance and perfect temp to drink when it came
