How could you miss the restaurant that invented Piña Colada? Overall the service and foods are good! There might be a long line if you go there late. ### saarlikesfood — 5.0/5 · Feb 29, 2024 They say piña coladas were invented here. And they really want you to know that piña coladas were invented here. It’s a tourist trap, but you have to experience it! #puertorico #sanjuan #cocktails ### chowtime — 4.2/5 · Aug 28, 2024 This is known to be the birth place of the famous piña colada. We saw long lines in the afternoon but waited maybe 40 min for early dinner (got to put our name down & walk around). The food was pretty decent, the fried red snapper was tasty and my mofongo was well seasoned and nicely dressed with gravy. The piña colada was a little sour and liquidy we were able to keep the cup for a few dollars more. Worth a try to check off the list since its pretty iconic. ### adventureswchass — 4.3/5 · Feb 16, 2025 home to the first ever pina colada!! because of that, we had to try this place! very tasty hehe ### snapeatrepeat — 4.3/5 · Mar 28, 2025 The home of the original Piña colada! ### connieishangry — 5.0/5 · Jun 7, 2025 Had to try the birthplace of piña colada during happy hour! Got one with rum and one without. It wasn’t as icy as we liked but I love how you can buy it in their cup for keepsakes. Sat in the patio and it was a nice environment with the water fountain ### munchiegummie — 4.3/5 · Jul 28, 2025 If you like $10 piña coladas And getting caught in the rain, Try Barrachina’s where it started Refreshing, smooth, and never plain. 🍍 ## Nearby - [Brodard Restaurant](https://frankiapp.com/business/brodard-restaurant-26674) — American - 16105 Brookhurst St (btwn Edinger Ave & Kerry St), Fountain Valley, CA 92708, US - [The Vox Kitchen](https://frankiapp.com/business/the-vox-kitchen-25269) — American - 16161 Brookhurst St (btwn Edinger & Heil Ave), Fountain Valley, CA 92708, US - [Ramen Nagi](https://frankiapp.com/business/ramen-nagi-27121) — American - 400 S Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007, US - [insideOut](https://frankiapp.com/business/insideout-23754) — American · $$$ - 1642 University Ave (Centre St), San Diego, CA 92103, US - [Porto's Bakery & Cafe](https://frankiapp.com/business/porto-s-bakery-cafe-29361) — American · $$$$ - 3614 W Magnolia Blvd (at Hollywood Way), Burbank, CA 91505, US - [Paradise Dynasty](https://frankiapp.com/business/paradise-dynasty-25831) — American - 3333 Bristol St Ste A, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, US - [Umi Hotpot Sushi & Seafood Buffet](https://frankiapp.com/business/umi-hotpot-sushi-seafood-buffet-131990) — American - 18061 Gale Ave, City of Industry, CA 91748, US - [Menya Hanabi](https://frankiapp.com/business/menya-hanabi-130482) — American - 5408 Walnut Ave # A, Irvine, CA 92604, US --- View full profile, photos, videos, and reviews on Franki: https://frankiapp.com/business/barrachina-99609
