Best Birria in San Diego! All their stuff is amazing but I also go for the Birria Cali Burrito. Their new location is great and has plenty of seating which is nice if you decide to eat there. This place never disappoints!

Okay this place is legit. @birria_el_rey brings the 🔥🔥 with their quesabirria, quesatacos and birria ramen. 
The meat was delicious and they gave us a tray full of condiments and homemade salsa that hit the spot! We were so full after all that food and queso! 😵✨ 
Everything was amazing and I’d highly recommend Birria El Rey if you want a fun, authentic Mexican place in the city.

Cute little trip to El Rey for their quesatacos 🌮🌮

Their Birria is by far the best in town. I kid you not every bite is so rich and flavorful and the meat is cooked to perfection - tender and juicy *chef’s kiss*

It was invented 500 years ago and ut is special. Plain and simple✨ It takes about 8 hours and lots of love and patience to make, simmering until the flavors meld. And there’s no better place to get your hands on an authentic Birria Taco than in one of the neighboring states of Mexico, SD.
