A fresh, light, vegetable heavy Mediterranean spot in pleasant ridge that I've been wanting to try for a while, unfortunately I wasn't sure I agreed with the politics of the owners so I kind of held off, until they catered and hosted a local event that I couldn't not show up for. And for the record the politics never came up, so I never had to face that battle. I just had to enjoy great hospitality, good food, and a very comfortable space.

meeting up with a friend for a holiday breakfast before the holiday and Cafe Alma was absolutely packed! And it's easy to see why when you look at their menu of fresh, healthy, and yet absolutely incredibly delicious Mediterranean / Israeli food. A shukshuka with eggplant and feta, paired with a challah loaf for my friend, and my open faced lox with beet tahini and Israeli salad. prices are a little high, but quality is exceptional. definitely recommended for coffee, a meal, or a glass of wine.
