Inside the newly reopened Hotel Julian, Carlotta’s Cocktail & Wine Bar is a tribute to Carlotta Valdes, the enigmatic figure whose ghostly presence lingers in Hitchcock’s 1958 iconic film, Vertigo.
The space has old-school allure and glamour with rich velvet seating, and an air of cinematic drama. Even the cocktail menu features names related to the movie Vertigo—The Dream Came Back, Too Late, Jaguar, Something Feverish, and The Year I Was Born. Each drink pairs perfectly with elevated bites.
