New brunch spot in Lincoln square!! The food is delicious but omg the raspberry matcha! So so good.

Known for their waffles, they get super creative with different dishes. I really enjoyed their waffle Benedict that came with pulled pork, two poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce. Well, I like some of their other waffle entrée is better, this one was pretty unique and filling. Good call on the liege waffle as the base.

This is a prime location for this bright, fun breakfast spot. The food is fresh and there are some good vegetarian options. The alcoholic cocktails look tasty, but I just had the coffee.

I didn’t really enjoy the Chilaquiles, but also figured out after the fact that maybe I don’t like traditional versions of this dish. If you’re a traditionalist, give it a shot and let me know. Service was excellent. My other half ordered the vegan breakfast burrito and really enjoyed it. The coffee was fresh and hot and kept coming. I would like to come back and try the waffles since that’s the signature item.

Now I can never “waffle”  about having a good brunch.  @chicagowaffles in Lincoln Square did not disappoint.  Even my Chicago Waffle Cafe Martini wished me a good day with vodka, Bailey’s, Kahlua and an espresso shot.  Vanilla latte, iced matcha latte and a Bloody Mary that really needs a shout out for the fresh ingredients in it were caffeinating and giving me a little of the brunch buzz.  Then it was utensils up for a waffle flight with a red velvet, matcha, chocolate and liege waffle

Looking for a nice brunch place during the week? Check out Lincoln Square’s Chicago waffles. 

Obviously, you should get a waffle there. I really enjoyed the sweet and savory combo of the fried chicken and waffles with a blueberry compote. Huge portion!
