This cute and colorful restaurant is in the heart of Del Mar, is truly a hidden gem! They have all outdoor seating surrounded by trees and colorful lights, that gives you a cozy oasis vibe and heaters to keep you warm in the winter. We had never had Peruvian food before and were blown away by the delicious flavors!
What we tried:
Pinacolada, Fresh Squuezed Orange Juice, Yuquitas- boiled and flash fried yuca with yummy saucel
Ceviche Classico- Peruvian Mahi mahi, squid ink risotto and short rib

I’m sharing so that everyone knows!! One of San Diego’s HIDDEN GEMS is located in Del Mar and it serves up authentic Peruvian cuisine.

Coya has some delicious classic dishes like empanadas and ceviche, while adding a twist to comforting dishes like chicken over rice and pesto ravioli.

I had such a wonderful date night at cova peruvian secret ~ this is an amazing date spot, with a romantic atmosphere and just a few minutes walk to see the sunset at the beach! The food is delicious and beautifully presented.
My favorite dishes here are:
* chicha morada- A refreshing non-alcoholic drink made from purple corn
* Homemade Empanada
*Ahi tartare ceviche
*Filet mignon Lomo Saltado
• Squid Ink Risotto w/ Fresh Catch of the day
• cuatro leches cake
