Demera is a #Chicago favorite in #Uptown, serving the best #Ethiopian food in the city!   Proudly woman owned, Chef & Owner, Tigist Reda, was born and raised in Ethiopia and opening in 2007.  She is also a philanthropist who started a non profit program to raise money for health care for women in Tigray ❤️. Highly recommend the Vegetable Bayanetu with 9 vegetarian dishes (serves 2) .The service is amazing here. #ethiopian #womenowned #chicago

To celebrate International Women’s Day, headed to Demera in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. This women’s owned, black owned business serves authentic Ethiopian cuisine. 

Highly recommend their Vegetable Bayanetu lets you sample 9 vegetarian dishes with their iconic spongy flatbread you use to eat your meal. Plenty for 2-3 people, only $48!

Demera in Uptown is the Ethiopian Food institution in #Chicago. A unique experience to eat everything with your hands, from the 5 sampler samosas to the 9 vegetarian sampler platter, served with traditional #Ethiopian flatbread!

Demera is a #Chicago favorite in the #Uptown neighborhood since 2007, serving the best #Ethiopian 🇪🇹 food in the city. Come here for the delicious hand-eaten meals that you share family style. Highly recommend the Sambussa Sampler, which is a sampler of their fried dumplings.  After appetizers you can select the messobs, the family style selection . if you’re vegetarian, get the Vegetable Baynetu, which serves 2 easily. Highly recommend you book reservations on weekends as it is popular.
