Smash burgers, but make it Puerto Rican 🇵🇷✨ @smashjibarito inside @deserthawkbar is serving up one of the best smash burgers in Chicago, and the fact that you can get it between two plantains? Mind. Blown. 🤯

Don’t sleep on the hand-cut chips — plain or loaded, they’re fire! 🔥 And the pica puff (a Puerto Rican twist on a pizza puff) and the sweet, crispy maduritas? Absolute musts. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you! 🍔🍟

We ordered everything and the kitchen sink. But for real, we couldn't decide on what to order so we got the kitchen sink which is like a sample platter for the indecisive, the steak nachos, and a chicken burrito. Everything was absolutely delicious! Some take aways, the chicken burrito had a beautiful sweetness to it which was a perfect counter to the salsa that will send you for a wild ride... 🥵

We also ordered drinks: Smoke Signal and Golden Compass, we'd recommend both!
