DIOSA, is touted as “the hottest new Mexican restaurant in Downey,” “elevating” traditional Mexican food “through inventive touches from Spain, Portugal, France, and the US.” Personally, I found DIOSA to be overpriced and obnoxious. The music was so loud, it was difficult to talk with someone across the table, and while the food was good, it’s not anything I’d crave. There was nothing “elevated” about it. It felt like any other regular Mexican restaurant, in taste and presentation.

For a mexican spot, I love and would recommend Diosa! It’s a chic mexican restaurant and the food is delicious and well prepared. They also serve a complimentary bread.
