Eli's cheesecakes and desserts use only the finest, highest quality ingredients and are baked in small batches here in Chicago.  Our cheesecakes begin with our cookie bakers who bake our signature all butter shortbread crust.  Then, our mixers combine cultured cream cheese, cultured sour cream, real Madagascar  Vanilla, grade AA butter, eggs and sugar to make our cheesecake batter.  Once the cakes are baked slowly in our oven, they are decorated by hand by an Eli's pastry artist to insure that you get the best-looking and best-tasting dessert!

Eli's Cheesecake was created by restaurateur Eli Schulman as the signature dessert for Eli's the Place for Steak, a Chicago landmark for 40 years.  Since its public debut in 1980 at the first Taste of Chicago, Eli's has become one of the country's largest specialty bakeries. You have not had true cheesecake until you have experienced Eli’s. This is not only my favorite cheesecake in Chicago but in the world. They always have great deals on whole cheesecakes or even a slice. This is a must visit on your list! #summerstarterpack
