I’ved heard so many great things about Fortunate Son. There wasn’t a wait to be seated outside and it was surprisingly cozy by the heater even during this cold weather. If we wanted to eat inside on a Tuesday night at 5:30pm, the wait would have been 1.5 hour. This is definitely a great and affordable place. I can’t wait to go back again.

The quote wait was an hour and a half, but we were seated after 35 minutes. We ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Dan Dan Noodles with a side order of rice and a bottle of wine. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was AMAZING but the Dan Dan Noodles were so spicy (good, but almost too spicy to where it was not enjoyable for me). Our server was not the most attentive, however, it was very busy so understandable. Would love to try the orange chicken and lo mein next time!

the food was more greasy than panda express i will say… but their fried tofu is GAS !!! the fried rice was really greasy and the dan dan noodles had so much potential but super duper spicy and i LOVE spicy food haha 

the food was still really affordable however so no complaints, and i finished most of it as well. 

the vibes tho are a 10283910/10 super pretty, lighting, interior everything was a 10/10 🥡🏮!!

If you love Chinese food then you will love this spot. Beautiful decor inside. They have seating inside and outside. The wait can be anywhere from
1-2hours. Parking is limited and street parking.

Add to the list for your next date night! Fortunate Son is one of my favorite restaurants 🥡 The decor is WILD and you can order drinks from Polite Provisions while dining in!
