THE best spot for authentic Neapolitan style pizza in San Diego is Buona Forchetta. The Pachiatella is simple perfection, a version of a margherita, they use sweet Pienollo tomatoes and mozzarella di bufalo. They are also known for their delicious homemade pasta. The Garage location  reflects and honors the original historic El Cordova Garage with an eclectic 1940s Garage theme, where you can even dine in a car!

I had an amazing dining experience at this Italian restaurant. The Cacio e Pepe was perfectly done—simple yet packed with rich, creamy pecorino and just the right amount of black pepper. The Lasagna Bolognese was another standout, with layers of tender pasta, a deeply flavorful meat sauce, and just the right amount of béchamel to tie everything together.

Cute spot with quirky garage vibes - service was a little slow but I do think it was because of the holiday parade - overall LOVED my pasta and they sent over a free garlic bread for us to share!
