After several months of trying to grab a rezzy (the restaurant is quite intimate), I finally got to try the gi-jin restaurant downtown and loved it! Cant wait to go back for more handrolls. 👌🏻

Craving sushi?! Check out gi-jin downtown! After years of anticipation, gi-jin is finally open 🙌🏻 This spot is great for a date night or get together with friends. They have a grear sake and cocktail list-mostly gin drinks! Their menu is filled with small plates consisting of both raw and cooked sushi. I went eith my husband last weekend and we split about 8 dishes plus dessert! My favorites were the miso torched salmon and the hamachi! Everthing was delicious amd the staff was very friendly!

what’s not to LOVE about gi-jin in downtown pittsburgh? i have been here many, many times and had the best food and best time. their seasonal sushi menu is absolutely amazing and everything is beautifully presented in a way that honors Japenese technique. its an experience you dont want to miss out on. reservations fill up quickly so make sure you have one!

Gi-Jin is a fabulous time. The atmosphere is super unique and intimate. The food is extremely fresh and is extremely good! Their menu boasts lots of apps, handrolled sushi, and truffle oil. The cost is very reasonable, too, considering the experience you get is also top knotch. Try any of their carefully crafted gin cocktails and top the night off with their shaved ice. The menu changes often, so always be on the lookout for more new items!
