Grand Harbor Restaurant in Rosemead didn’t leave much of an impression. Service was underwhelming and the food didn’t stand out. I wouldn’t return on my own, though I might join if invited for a party. Oddly, some dinner items are priced lower than their “special” lunch—worth noting, but not enough to win me over.

Lines can be long here for a good reason, food is delicious, portions are big, and prices are great. There are food specials during weekdays

Prices are high for below average food. Most dishes start around $25-30 for a regular dinner menu. The quality wasn't great and the quantity was decent. Service was below average as well.

The black pepper beef was good and cooked medium well.
Good flavoring but nothing spectacular.
The Yanzhou Style Fried Rice was sad. The rice came out brown but has all the toppings of a Yangzhou style. It didn't match the picture and how it traditionally is. So that threw me off. The ratio was not good.

Came here to try their $8.99 dinner plates. The food was not bad, but not great either. The service was ok. Price is pretty cheap. You get what you pay.
