This is a South Congress staple during #SXSW with a large courtyard with bands playing. Came in to eat during lunch and enjoyed the al pastor stuffed burrito. The maragarita I got was not the best, tasted very artificial and cheap.

Went shopping down Congress for some western gear. My bff and I wanted to try "Tex-Mex" food since we were visiting from California. 

We don't dine in, and ordered to go. On a Saturday night this place was pretty busy. 
I give location 4 stars since we were hungry and the ambiance was pretty inviting. 

However I gave the 3 rating because for Mexican food, especially tacos, I have a high standard. I ordered the no 1 combo and I was highly disappointed in the enchilada. Even though my order was

Did you know Guero’s taco bar has an ALL vegan menu? This is my go-to spot when I’m in SoCo. They usually have vendors and live music outside. The chips & queso (credo cheese) is a must!
