📍 hana makgeolli – greenpoint, nyc

i had never tried makgeolli before (a traditional korean rice wine), and i’m so glad this was my first time. the owners are incredibly warm and walk you through every flavor profile in detail if you opt for the tasting flight. learning about the different styles while sipping made it so much more fun. my favorite? the rosehill farm collab with rice & sour cherry 🍒 so good we took a bottle home!
