Is it worth the hype? My personal answer is, YES! 
Price: I wouldn’t say it’s cheap for the size but something about double fisting for under $20 feels great. 
Taste: their milk to caffeine ratio is perfect imo. Not too milky, not too sweet, but the matcha truly shines. 
Line: can’t come on a weekday? Line moves pretty fast! About 15-20 min?

This is one of my favorite places to get coffee. It gets busy though, so I usually just grab and go. The camel latte is really good, orange and chocolate flavor.

So so good! Amazing staff and drinks. Lex was our barista and answered all of our questions and made great recommendations. Had a matcha and vanilla latte.

Iced Matcha Latte was really good! Not too sweet & just bitter enough. They were out of the vegan cream top which was the main reason we went. So that was sad, but we will go back to try again!

Delicious, strong cream top matcha with the perfect amount of sweetness. The only issue is that the cup is absolutely tiny for $5.50, I’m sure their regular no cream top matcha is a much better deal. Definitely recommend for any matcha enthusiasts!

Handles Coffee is a rebrand from Camel Coffee as of August 2025. The camel coffee and camel matcha are a must try 💯 and their pastries are so gooood too!

Used to be Carmel coffee but guess they changed it recently. They have an upstairs area for sitting as well, but the cafe overall isn’t really for sitting/studying. Drinks were not too expensive as well relative to cafes nowadays which is nice. Drinks were good too we got the silver lake late
