The name of this local #sportsbar pays homage to the UNLV men’s basketball team in 1977. Back then, they took coach Jerry Tarkanian's Runnin' Rebels into the NCAA Tournament, but lost by 1 point to North Carolina in the Final Four. The team, nicknamed the “Hardway Eight” by Sports Information Director, Dominic Clark, may not have been national champions, but they turned Las Vegas into a sports town. I didn’t try the food, but loved my Beet Duke cocktail! Service was attentive & cordial. #bar
