I visited Havana Grill in Clairemont and ordered the Pollo Plate, which comes with ½ roasted chicken, rice, and plantains. The flavor of the chicken was great, though it was a little dry. However, the plantains made up for it—I love that almost every plate includes them, which is perfect when I’m craving that sweet goodness.
One of my go-to treats here is always the guava and cheese pastry. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and tangy, and I never leave without grabbing

Found this hidden Cuban restaurant today, really recommend their seafood fried rice, also the sirloin steak🥩, taste soooo yummy

The new Havana Grill & Bakery at Mission Valley is now open and this it is suuucchhh a vibe! 😍

Serving up flavorful Cuban food, delectable pastries, and a gorgeous atmosphere, this is for sure a great spot for dinner and drinks! 🥂🕺🏼

Can’t wait to come back with more people so that I can try more of the sandwiches (like I totally know I should have tried out the Cubano sandwich)
The beans were great and I usually don’t like beans too much. Want to try more of the plates as well, but wasn’t too hungry to be able to order more food. Not too crowded at 11 AM on Saturday morning, but it WAS before lunch rush. Parking lot with ample spots. 
This is like the family version. Mission valley, u have to walk past the bar first.
