Hoi A Restaurant on Polk Street is a family-run Vietnamese spot that feels both elevated and deeply comforting at the same time. The space glows with an earthy warmth, with brown wood interiors and a cozy, lived-in charm that makes you want to linger. 
The star of the evening, without question, was the Shaken Beef — possibly my favorite dish in all of San Francisco! It’s tender, richly marinated cubes of beef that are seared to perfection alongside crispy potatoes. (It’s on the pricier side.)

If you need legit real viet food, you have to come here bc it doesn’t get any more authentic than this! Their catfish dish is the best I’ve ever had in the city and would highly recommend ! The interior is gorgeous as well. It reminds me of Vietnam!
