I can eat ramen anytime of year but it’s the Midwest Winter where I love it the most . Hokkaido is a new ramen shop in Evanston.  They have all the broths and noodle types. The rich tonkatsu broth will soothe your frigid body but also clear out any sinus issues. Add some chili paste to spice things up if you really need a kick. The pork belly is tender and delicious as are the noodles. Hokkaido is a great place to get a quick meal on your own or hang out with your friends. #ramen

🍜 #Ramen Alert🚨 ‼️ Hokkaido is a new restaurant in Evanston, a northern suburb of #Chicago . What I love about the insides is that compared to other Ramen shops , it has very high ceilings and vibrant walls. The food is good price and even better deal if you are in Northwestern students or staff, as you get a discount. The #takoyaki (octupus balls) was the best item we had. While the Ramen was a good size portion, thr noodles were not as good as other Chicago shops , but still tasty.

When fall weather comes, it’s time to have warmer and more savory meals like tonkatsu Ramen! Would recommend that you get a side of chili paste to spice up the meal. Big fan of the murals in the side of the restaurant. Visit this location right in Evanston downtown. #ramen #evanston #noodles

Best AYCE I’ve found to date in the area. 
The quality is decently good and consistent, price is excellent $32/ea, limited 2 hours. 5 sashimi limit per person. The waiters, chefs and staff are super nice but the manager I’ve seen to be rude a few times unfortunately so customer service is not yet a 10/10. 
Try the place out especially if you need somewhere to go after 9PM.
