I was really excited to try the Rick Martinez doughnut, but it didn’t deliver what I was expecting. The flavors sounded unique and tropical, but I couldn’t really taste much of them. Maybe a faint crunch of coconut nibs, but nothing distinct. Instead, it was overly sweet and a bit one-note. For the price and all the hype, I thought it would be something special, but it just wasn’t very impressive.
