The Bangkok fried rice with Dungeness crab is super fragrant with great wok hei, though I wasn’t a fan of the paired sauce. The pad see ew uses vermicelli instead of the usual wide flat rice noodles. It’s still very tasty. The crispy pork belly was decent, but I wish it had been fried deeper for a crunchier bite. Service was friendly, though the frequent check-ins disrupted our conversation a bit. It might have been because they close at 9, but it still felt a bit intrusive.

Holy Basil was GREAT! Portions were on the smaller side but the dishes we had were tasty and lived up to the hype.

Great Thai food at Holy Basil! Location is small and it gets busy, so either come when they open or snag an online reservation. Tastes just like having it on the streets of Bangkok.

honestly didnt enjoy the temporary items as much as some other stuff ive had. dont think i would order the boat noodles or porridge again, but grapow in the video is rly good
