Hozy’s Grill in Santa Paula is a bit off the beaten path but so worth it! Every time we eat here it is amazing. The jumbo shrimp cocktail is the best I’ve ever had. Their poke martini is made with fresh bluefin tuna. The wedge salad is great and if you ask for extra blue cheese they will deliver! The ribeyes are cooked perfectly as requested and are served with two sides. The spicy Thai pork chops had an addicting sauce that had the perfect kick.

Delicious yellowtail sashimi appetizer followed by chicken parmesan (not pictured because I dug right in!). Had to get their famous apple tarte tartin for dessert. It’s the best $10 I’ve ever spent. Tried their peach cobbler as well but didn’t love it unfortunately.

Stopped in for lunch on the way to Santa Ynez. Their dinner menu is much more interesting than the breakfast/lunch menu, so I would only recommend this place for dinner. Get the apple pie dessert!
