If you want homemade japanese soba, Ichimian is the place. My favorite is the kakiage here, ehich is a type of tempura with sliced veggies and shrimp and seafood chunks. Their kakiage is big, crispy and match perfectly with the soba. They do have parking but is limited. Street parking is available but it’s sometimes difficult to find.

When I want soba, Ichimi An is my go to place. The location in Rolling Hills Plaza is full service with soba/uson & sushi, and the location in Old Town Torrance is more self serve with only soba/udon. So yummy 😋

My mom and I were running errands and wanted to try this place. We each got one of the Rolling Hills specials. My mom got the sashimi tempura combo and I got the crab, scallop, and ikura combo, both with cold soba. The noodles here are thin and so good! A little pricey, but really good quality Japanese food.

I’m used to eating Asian food (mainly Japanese) on a daily basis so on biz trips I return craving good Japanese food! So, I stopped by Ichimi An! Their location in Rolling Hills Plaza! The chirashi set was so good it def hit the spot!
