Ike’s has come a long way since its humble origins in the Mission in SF. And not in a good way. Quality is bad now, barely any meat on the sandwich. Dutch crunch bread is mediocre.

Stopped by Ike’s in Burbank and ordered the Menage a Trois and the Halsey—both packed with flavor and definitely not shy on portions. The Menage a Trois is a classic for a reason: layers of halal chicken, honey mustard, BBQ sauce, and that signature dirty sauce all come together in a messy, savory-sweet combo that hits hard.
