One of LA’s classic hangout spots that is beautiful and also delicious. My usual go to is their Chinese chicken salad and usually love it but I have noticed sometimes the chicken is quite dry so it could be hit or miss. They also have great little gourmet food items that are packaged that you can purchase as gifts.

I got an iced vanilla latte and it was fine, nothing special. I’ve gotten food from here by delivery in the past and it was always good, this was my first time at the actual location. Lots of cute knick knacks, cookbooks, and sauces for sale. All quite expensive. ($17 small orange candle, $24 olive oil, etc.) Lots of seating both inside and outside. Cute interior. Their pastries on display looked yummy. I would come back for a brunch sometime! Deff not my favorite coffee.

I stopped by here after my appointment to get my favorite shortrib sandwich, along with their popular Chinese chicken salad to save for my dinner.  The only disappointment was that they forgot to put the extra pickled cucumbers I had asked for.  I asked twice, too and they still forgot!!  And I didn't get to see Joan, the owner this time, usually I always stop by to see her; sweet lady!!
