Stopped by Kalaveras Cantina in Simi Valley and left a little underwhelmed — the fajitas I ordered looked promising but really lacked flavor, and the salsa didn’t do much to help since it was pretty bland too. The atmosphere is lively and fun, but when the food doesn’t deliver the punch you expect from Mexican dishes, it makes the whole experience fall flat.
