Best Malaysian cuisine in all of Chicago is at Kapitan/Serai ! Great for groups and all the dishes are extremely shareable family style. Only one real downside is that it’s not very accessible via public transportation. But it’s certainly worth the trip. #Malaysian #Asian #Chicago

The Malaysian community of Chicago is a very tight and close knit community. Kapitan is the sister restaurant of now closed favorite Serai and serves all the best that Southeast Asia cuisine has to offer including rendsng beef, roti with peanut sauce, and tumeric fried rice  #malaysian #gig #southeastasianeats

Some of the best south east Asian cuisine in all Chicago! You can get fresh coconut milk served in a coconut, authentic Malaysian noodle and rice, dishes, and some of the best rending beef!

Fantastic spot for large groups! They have an array of appetizers, like their roti and crab Rangoon. Tons of vegetarian and protein heavy entrées for dinner. Any noodle dish or beef rendang are highly recommended!
