If you want Japanese food, Kotohira is a great place to eat! They serve obentos and teishokus that you can enjoy. They have so many options so everyone can find something they want. I got Soki soba which actually isn't the typical "soba (buckwheat noodle)". It's an Okinawan dish that has Soki (flavored pork rib) with noodles made with flour and in a soup base made with bonito & pork. It was so good especially after a long day of volunteering!
