👉 Have y'all visited the new Loro location on Kirby yet? As they say, the far East meets down South. Think Asian flavors with Texas barbecue! Its definitely a unique taste and flair. We had the chance to visit & try several items including:
🐔 CHICKEN KARAAGE

Really wanted to like this new Loro on Kirby but it did not live up to my expectations. The other location in the Heights is clearly better. The rice platters were very repetitive and the rice flavor was overwhelming with lemongrass/lime, not coconut scented. The meats were extremely dry and tough with no flavor. The wings were also rubbery and not appealing. The only points they're getting from me on this visit are from service and from the drinks. The only thing we liked were the fried tofu.

Came back for more! The food and drinks were delicious on this visit and the happy hour deals are insane. Great boozy selections plus tasty fusion foods. The brisket burger, crispy pork ribs, sesame noodles, wings, smoked salmon chips and dip, plus more were all executed well. Hang out spot for friends for sure! There are plenty of seats inside and out. Order at the counter and everything will be brought out to table. Nice laid back atmosphere. #loro #smokehouse #asiansmokehouse #bbq #patio

Loro provided us with some great smoked meats this holiday for Thanksgiving. We couldn’t be more thankful and how they made our spread unique delicious and easy to prep.
