Celebrated a birthday with hearty Italian in Pasadena. The blistered bread was a fun way to start the meal. The Bianca pizza was delightful, with a well-done crust. Cacio e Pepe is always a must when on any menu, and it’s done well here — just enough of a peppery bite without overwhelming your palate. It’s a nice restaurant for a celebration and service is attentive.

The squid ink dumpling filled with shrimp tastes incredibly fresh, reminiscent of the ocean. I also tried various dishes from my friends, and each one was delicious. I highly recommend Marina.
