As visually stunning as this restaurant is, and it's hard not to stare, every plate of food is even more spectacular. With a focus on authentic Italian food, craft cocktails and fine wine, it's no wonder that this restaurant has become so incredibly popular in such a short time since opening.

Marisi is a beautiful, upscale Italian restaurant in La Jolla that is the perfect ambiance for a date night, girls night out, or special occasion/celebration! The pastas are handmade fresh everyday! We got the focaccia, parpardelle bolognese, and the chefs special of the day - the king crab fettuccini! The food was great, the vibes are stunning, and the service was outstanding as well.

Only open from 5:00 to 9:00. 

Great food, May really took care of us. I like how she wrote the names of the dishes on her to go boxes. The restroom was nice too.

Though we had reservations at 5:15, got there at 5:00 and they made his wait 20 minutes to be seated, even though the place was empty.

We had the bone marrow, some awesome bread and king crab raviolis. We paid $72 for a $25 bottle of wine. Some wines on the list were $800. Crazy!

Nice place, and decent decorations for the Christmas.

Not your traditional pizza and it deserves a mention!! This carpaccio pizza and meat balls are to die for! You want to get pretty and fancy with your girls…. This is the spot for some out of the box kind of pizza and lamb meatballs. You’re welcome 😉
