Checked out Marlou for DineLA during lunch! They only give you 2 out of the 3 options on the menu, but if you check in on yelp, you get a free bread pudding!

With dimmed lighting, a fireplace & candles in abundance, Marlou DTLA is perfect for those seeking an intimate environment— whether for a date night or a good ole post-work wind down. The staff are also incredibly accommodating & attentive.
The Octopus could’ve been more tender, but it still tasted great, along with the other dishes. For my cocktail, I selected the French Royal, a delightful gin & lavender-infused vodka beverage. Def recommend checking them out!
