I went with my coworker. It’s reasonably priced for what you get. My favorite item is the tempura egg. The wait looks long but it moves pretty fast.

My friend and I have gone to the Marugame Udon in Santa Ana so we thought we’d give the Irvine location a try. Since each location makes their own soup bases, the broths were a little different compared to the other one we’ve been to. I got the Beef Curry Nikutama and it was good but a little bit on the salty side. I enjoyed the tempura sides and the Calamansi-aid beverage.

My go to udon place! I tried the new curry tomato udon and it was great. All the dishes are good prices too!

I we love the tonkatsu udon here and the shrimp tempura. We just wish that they have bamboo shoots. My husband love the curry udon too.
