Mínyólǐ (meen yo lee), named after the Chef/Owner’s childhood juàncūn neighborhood in Taipei,  is a noodle restaurant that strives to represent the kind of mom n’ pop noodle shops that originated in Taiwan’s villages for military dependents known as “juàn cun” (眷村) (jyuwen tswin).

Minyoli in Andersonville might be my new favorite place. They make all of their noodles in house so of course we had to try them.  Love love love a menu with multiple vegan options all of them delicious

Thrilled about the Taiwanese Fried Chicken - truly the best I've had. The fact that it has sour plum powder, basil!& sweet potato batter is just sublime. 🤌

For the second starter, we tried the blanched greens in soy sauce, allium oil & fried shallots. 🌱

Entree: Spicy Tallow with Sichuan pepper, braised beef shank & garlic chili crumble. All-in-all..good, but the portion was small, and if it wasn't for the sides, I wouldn't have gotten full. The beef was tender but had inedible cartilage. 🍜

Great to have another 🇹🇼 Taiwanese restaurant in #Chicago ! Minyoli opened last year with a lot of fanfare and ran into some new restaurant challenges but it looks like they have smoothed things over for s great experience for restaurant goers. They have elevated variations on traditional Taiwanese dishes like popcorn chicken (slightly sweet) . #taiwanese #taiwan #asian

Love that there is an authentic Taiwanese restaurant in Andersonville! Try classics, like the popcorn chicken, braised greens, beef rice bowl, and signature beef noodle soup.

Now that it’s winter time, nothing like warming up with authentic Taiwanese soups and noodle dishes!

🍜 The Four Gods Beef Noodle Soup is milder than the Red Braised version, but both have generous amount of beef. 
🍗 Highly reco the Signature Snacks, especially the Taiwanese Fried Chicken bites and Luiwei Veg Platter
🥮 Pineapple tart with prickly pear ice cream
