🫕 THE best French Onion soup in all Chicago! Mon Ami Gabi is my favorite place to get French food, but especially when it gets cold and I’m craving a souper cheesy rich umami French onion soup! 

Beef Bourgenion & French baguette are delicious too!

Mon Ami Gabi is a popular French 🇫🇷bistro known for its charming and lively atmosphere.  This is the first time I’ve been here to eat their dinner menu and I can’t wait to go back.  Start with the a delicious warmed baguette 🥖and butter and highly recommend the Onion Soup au gratin  baked with Gruyere.  You can’t go wrong with the Mussels Mariniere & frites with white wine broth.  Most surprising was the crispy Roast chicken A la Gran-mere. #French #chicago

Best friend restaurant in Chicago! Service is spectacular and they will split any dish for you, including their epic French onion soup! Sunday specialty is their classic beef Wellington. If it’s your birthday, they give you their house made profiterole with chocolate sauce to die for!

Been wanting to come here for a long time. The location feels very posh right by the park. Parking is difficult but they do have valet. I got the steak frites, which were good but seemed more like churrasco style. I also tried the escargot, and was pleased that they were buttery and salty. The cocktails were delicious and the wine selection was great.

This is the place to make a reservation if you want steak frites, a delicious martini, and a great time with whoever is lucky enough to share your table. Highly recommend using a rideshare service or parking a few blocks away as the valet is available but expensive.
