A taste of Italy in Irvine 🇮🇹

The highly anticipated fourth concept by Orange County restaurateur, Tony Monaco, has opened Monaco Italian Kitchen at Irvine’s newest dining complex, Eighteen Main! 

With a focus on freshness and tradition, scratch-made doughs, specialty hand-rolled pastas, locally sourced meats, craft sauces, and hand-crafted cocktails, Executive Chef Karl Pfleider showcases dishes heavily inspired by a team trip to Italy last year.

MONOCO is a new local Italian restaurant with a cozy indoor space and a larger outdoor patio connected to the bar. The service was friendly and attentive 🙏🏼 shoutout Jeff. While their pasta is imported directly from Italy, the standouts of the night were actually the pizza and the grilled pork entrée! The pasta didn’t wow as much as expected 🍝 but the menu overall is strong and definitely worth a visit!
