The National Cambodian Heritage Museum is a one of a kind museum located on the #Chicago northside, both a tribute to the rich Cambodian heritage (of many thousand years) and also keeps the stories alive of the struggles, civil unrest that happened in the 1970’s in the country.  This is the only museum of its kind in the US that keeps alive and promotes healing through the stories of survivors of civil unrest.   It is both a celebratory and deeply somber and self reflective . #museum #cambodian
