We ordered:

-Banana fosters stuffed French toast it was so delicious!!
* vegan chocolate chip cookie
* coconut muffin
* Shakshuka: Moroccan-spiced tomato sauce baked with 2 eggs. Organic arugula-feta salad, local olive oil & home fries.

I had such a great time at
@nutmegbakery with my sister! We went at 11 for brunch and it was packed! This is always a good sign because you know the food is good.
What I love is that they have all kinds of vegan and gluten free options. They also use a lot of organic food. Such a cute family owned business, and we had a great time looking around at all the cute items they have for sale.

We tried the stuffed berry french toast and nutmeg scramble. All delicious! And an iced latte. I particularly enjoyed the cinnamon mascarpone filling inside the french toast!

BREAKFAST at @nutmegbakery 😋🍳

This cozy location in Sabre Springs, San Diego was featured on #dinersdriveinsanddives and was visited by @guyfieri himself! 

We tried:

🥑 Fancy Avocado Toast
🐷 Carnitas Quesadilla 

Everything was delicious! I’m always a sucker for avocado toast though!!😋

This spot does get busy, especially on the weekends so make sure you get there early!

Nutmeg creates gormet level brunch for affordable prices. The French toast features berry compote and mascarpone blended with fresh strawberries. Delish. The Nutmeg Scramble had wonderful sausage bits mixed with goat cheese.
