This downtown area of Anaheim has lots of good restaurants, but I often find myself at Okayama Kobo before my main meal!! They have really cute pastries that are also delicious. They close at 4, so you have to go before dinner! Dessert before dinner is not a crime!

love okayama kobo! their breads are so cute and delicious and their matchas are chef’s kiss! the rose matcha latte and banana matcha latte didn’t have an overpowering rose or banana flavor! the cream tops are yummy, too!

Went to the fresh and lovely Okayama Kobo Bakery, it was very cool and my Intro to trying these savory bakery treats. I had the Matcha mochi anpan and the strawberry filled pastry. And the matcha sea salt cold brew. Yummy and refreshing.the matcha mochi anpan was my fave and is a soft green tea bread filled with mochi soft rice cake and a sweetened azuki bean filling. Looks different but was delish!
