I was really excited to try this brand new steakhouse in the new Gaylord Resort in Chula Vista. I felt that the ambiance felt like sitting in a recreation room. The food missed the mark. The steak was SO salty that it was inedible. I even mentioned this to the waitress, but there was no offer to remake the dish or swap it out for another dish. I think the best thing was the sourdough bread and butter with beef tallow…which is sad to say for a steakhouse. My old-fashioned was also way too sweet.

Really aesthetic dishes, just poorly executed on flavors. The salmon was really greasy and was not de-boned. I’ve had their filet mignon before and it’s very tough and over salted. The old fashioned was awful - don’t fall for their “signature” marketing.

Service was EXCELLENT.  Huge shout-out to Nico!
