Congrats to Giovanni Liguoro, the owner of Poesia Cafe, on opening a brand-new location at One Post Plaza!

Tucked just down the stairs, but not all the way to the Montgomery Street Station, you’ll find a little slice of Italy waiting for you in the heart of downtown SF. Even though the mayor stopped by for the ribbon cutting and grand opening!

The savory croissant sandwiches were buttery perfection, the vanilla custard croissant was a crowd favorite!

A new stop for your BART/MUNI commute! This cafe is has a huge pastry case filled with sweet and savory options. For the whipped cream fans, try their brioche filled with a mountain of whipped cream and a vanilla bean custard. They are conveniently located on a lower level of One Post Plaza near the Montgomery st station, so be sure to check them out on your next stop in the city!

I’m back at Cafe Poesia for their grand opening celebration! We started off with some aperol spritzes then made our way to the kitchen for some behind the scenes. First up was my fave, the Maritozzo, which is an Italian pastry filled with custard and whipped cream. Next up was their vibrant cornetto with flaky layers and pistachio filling. After, we enjoyed more yummy treats from their menu while hanging out in their awesome cafe setting.
