In much the same way that the United States is seen by many as a melting pot of cultures, Peru is a rich mixture of cultures and fusion of international flavors. With the influx of cultures from around the world, a sprinkle of African, a dash of Spanish, a smidge of Italian, and a pinch of Chinese people and ingredients were added to the traditions, flavors, and ingredients of the Inca and other Andean people. Not a popular choice but I tried Vainitas which is basically stir fry green beans and beef. There’s a reason why the favorite is Lomo Saltado 😄..but it was good nonetheless.

Are you a French fry or drink first? (When ordering take out). I’m a drink first if it came with. For lunch I got the classic Lomo Saltado.

Portion size was decent. The pescado a lo macho was my favorite. Very creamy and well seasoned.
